very easy to install, had it done in less than 10 min.

I no longer need to use propane

I wish the hose was longer , but otherwise it’s excellent and very easy to install

Flames not as high as Propane. However, it generates a lot of heat

The difference between the LP vs NG valve is the orifice installed in the NG valve is bigger. Other then the orifice, the valve are identical.

I have old NG hoses from discontinued BBQs I could of re-used.

Outland should consider selling just the NG orifice as not everyone needs the whole kit (NG hose and quick connect)

Other than that, its a quality product. I probably could of drilled out the Orifice hole but didnt want to risk anything so I spend the money on the kit.

Hi Henry! Thank you for your feedback. When converted to natural gas, it is quite normal for the flames to be less visible during the day, as natural gas burns cleaner than propane does.

Please note, that it does take a little longer for the flame to build up when converted to natural gas, and you typically won't see the flame adjust for the first 5 minutes. When you first light up the unit, we recommend that you let it run on high for approximately 15 minutes, as this will allow the rocks to heat up which will in turn create that dynamic and full appearance.

Additionally, our conversion kits were designed with minor adjustments to the valve, hose size, etc., and are CSA Approved to reach the desired 58,000 BTU output and to be used as-is. Per the CSA requirements, we must provide our customers with all the necessary components to make a safe transition to natural gas. Due to this reason, we cannot sell the components separately as this would put the liability on our customers. We hope you can understand our reasoning for this.
