    Great Product and Great Price

I was going to purchase a Camp Chef stove, but then found this Summerland Stove for a MUCH better price. Shipping was great and fast even during the holidays. The quality of the Summerland Stove is better than the Camp Chef and has some great features. The folding legs are terrific, the large wheels are really appreciated, the propane hose stores conveniently under the stove, and the compact design is wonderful. I am very happy with this stove.

    Outland products

We have the Summerland stove, the Cypress fire pit, and we just ordered the Princeton stove.
We camp as much as possible in the northeast during spring, summer and fall. The fire pit works great to provide heat and ambiance to our campsite. This year was particularly helpful because of drought conditions. Most campgrounds had banned burning wood on site. Plus the fire pit is smoke free, no dodging smoke when the wind shifts, no stinky clothes and camper. If you are considering a fire pit, the convenience is well worth it. We have been camping for over 40 years, this was a great purchase. Well made and works great.

The Summerland cook stove is a well made three burner beast with flames that you can probably see from the space shuttle. Sometimes we camp with a crowd, and this stove handles all the cooking for the group. It gets set up in an outdoor kitchen area under a canopy, could not be happier with the way it performs. Cleans up easy. A bit heavy (70 lbs or so) , but is the centerpiece of the cooking experience.

We just order the Princeton stove for when it is just the two of us camping. A two burner version that will be easier to transport. Sure to be as sturdy and well built as the other products we currently have from Outland. Glad they are manufacturing a solid product and take pride in what they offer. Can’t say that about much of the camping gear we have purchased over the years.

    Very well made

What I like. This is a very sturdy stove. I like that it fits larger pots and pans, that don't fit well on other camp stoved. It has very hight temperature. It folds down very neatly and rolls on wheels.

What I don't like. The burners don't go as low as I would like. I think it would be better if the the burners where slightly smaller, sacrificing a little of the top end to get a better lower temperature. Or have one of the burners smaller. The whole stove is a bit on the heavy side and I think the rubber feet (when the legs are folded) are undersized for the weight. I am worried that the rubber feet will fall off.

How portable and reliable your product is.

First my wife and I bought it to use it for when we go out camping. We loved the stove so much that now we use it at home to cook , winter is probably the only season we can't cook on it because we live in Wisconsin and it gets cold. Overall awesome product.

    Nice Stove

Overall, I'm happy with the purchase of the Outland Stove. My wife and I camp often where it is a frequent companion. There are two reasons I did not rate it 5 stars. 1. It has been prone to rust and I rarely allow it to get rained on. Don't get me wrong, it's not like it's horrible or anything, I would just prefer a more durable finish. 2. While the folding legs are great, the Pins are a pain in the butt. I would much prefer some sort of spring-loaded press & release button.

My last comment is not a criticism, but a thought. I absolutely LOVE the ginormous burners!!!! However, I also have the need to carry a little Coleman stove for those situations where something less than ginormous is appropriate. I wonder if there could be an option for a smaller burner in one position or even a fourth, smaller BTU burner as an add-on. I've no clue on the design ramifications of this, but.... :-)

Hi Ken! We are happy to hear that you are content with your purchase of the Summerland Stove! It's awesome that this appliance has become a staple for your travels. The Stove is constructed of high-quality steel that has a powder-coating finish to ensure longevity. However, if you are camping near a salt water body, this may increase the corrosion time as salt water corrosion of metals happens faster than freshwater because of the increase presence of dissolved ions. These ions allow electrons to move faster on the metal, speeding up the formation of rust. The BTU output for each of the burners is 30,000 on the highest setting which is quite typical in any portable camping stove. We appreciate your suggestion in regards to the pins as well as the burners and we will certainly will share this with our team, as the option of having one smaller burner is a great idea! Thank you for your suggestion.
