Q: Can this fire pit be converted to natural gas?

Yes, the Premium Fire Pit can be converted to natural gas by using the Natural Gas Conversion Kit 785, sold separately.

Q: How does the Premium differ from the Deluxe?

The Premium Fire Pit features an automatic ignition, while the Deluxe Fire Pit requires manual ignition. (They both come with a Cover + Carry Kit.)

Easy to use and reliable

Tried a bunch of other fire pits/tables, all were junk, this one worked right out of the box and has been reliable and enjoyable since the first time we lit it up!

Great portable fire pit!

We got the premium fire pit to use while camping. It is amazing. It gives off a lot of heat even on the lowest setting. We wanted something small enough to bring camping and easy enough to use without the mess of wood and ashes. This is a great purchase!!

Convenient, No Problem Fire Pit

I love my new Outland fire bowl/pit. It’s a convenient size and yet it puts out serious heat; also, I love that the starter is built into it… no burnt fingers or forgetting the lighter. Plus, since it’s natural gas, no propane bottles to fill and no firewood to gather or ashes to dispose of. Quality built, too. Highly recommend it.

Great firepit without all the smoke

We met a couple on our last camping trip who had an Outland Living fire pit. They raved about how happy they were with theirs, so as soon as we got back home, we ordered one for us. Happy we did! Now we can have a fire any time we won't.

Nice fire pit works well but I was led to belive that it was made in CANADA but no CHINA. I always try to buy Canadian I don't mind paying a bit more for our own support. So DISAPPOINTED in that Regard Jack

Yes, Outland Living's head office is located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. All of our products are made in China, however, they are made in our own factories. We do not hide this information as it is available on the 'Contact' section of our website. One thing that sets us apart from many manufacturers is our ability to completely control the design, engineering, material sourcing, and quality control of our products. In other words, Outland Living products are made by the Outland Living Team and aren't manufactured for us.

Convenience

We have had our fire pit for almost 3 years now and we have loved it. We had a small issue when we purchased received it with a kink in the propane hose but I called up customer service and they sent us out a new one immediately. It is the perfect size for what we need whether it’s at home or taking it out camping when there is a fire ban And only propane fighters are allowed

At this time, our propane fire pits do not meet the CSA regulations to be used as a cooking appliance.

Can you use glass beads or alternative rocks instead of the non-toxic lava rocks?

Answer:

For the time being, we cannot advise the use of third-party products with our propane fire pits as we have only tested this product (and is CSA approved) to be used with the included Natural Lava Rocks.
